ISC² (CISSP): CISSP training is an advanced course designed to meet the high demands of the information security industry by preparing students for the Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP) exam. This certification is managed by the internationally recognized and highly prestigious International Information Systems Security Certifications Consortium ISC².

Required Exam:

  • The exam covers ISC²'s ten domains from the Common Body of Knowledge (CBK), encompassing the whole of information security.
  • The exam consists of 250 multiple-choice questions.
  • Candidates have up to 6 hours to complete the examination. 
  • The Ten Domains are:
1.  Information Security and Risk Management
2.  Access Control
3.  Security Architecture and Design
4.  Physical (environmental) Security
5.  Telecommunications and Network Security
6.  Cryptography
7.  Business Continuity and Disaster Recovery
8.  Legal, Regulations, Compliance and Investigations
9.  Application Security and (10) 
10. Operations Security.

CompTIA Security+: is an international, vendor-neutral certification that proves competency in system security, network infrastructure, access control and organizational security. The Security+ certification course will provide on-the-job skills of system security, access control, network infrastructure, assessments, audits, cryptography and organizational security.

Required Exam:
  • Exam code SY0-401
  • Number of questions: 100
  • Length of test: 90 minutes,
  • Passing score: 750 on a scale of 100-900
  • Two years of technical networking experience, with an emphasis on security.
Microsoft Security Training:
  • Course# 2823B: Implementing and Administering Security in a Microsoft Windows Server 2003 Network 
  • Course # 2830B: Designing Security for Microsoft Networks
